Regional Sales Manager

Reporting to the Global Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sr. Channel Sales Manager for Breece Hill will have channel development responsibility for an assigned region, in concert with revenue and growth targets. The successful Sr. Channel Sales Manager will establish and manage relationships with indirect channels including VAR’s, ISV’s and Integrator partnerships in order to meet/exceed assigned goals.

He/She will be expected to fully develop and execute a comprehensive Channel Development Plan to recruit new partners, develop current partners and maintain a high level of customer and partner satisfaction

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must have a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals (quota), and excelling in a highly competitive market.

• Must possess current skills and experience with data storage hardware/software technologies (disk, tape, etc.) archive application, regulatory compliance and/or digital asset management.

• Will successfully execute the Channel strategy plan for the Breece Hill product offerings to ensure both revenue attainment and the development of a market leadership position in the region.

• Will successfully demonstrate a strategic solution sales approach with a focus on building relationships with top tier channel partners and end user customers.

• Have the ability to identify, recruit, educate and develop relationships with key resellers and systems integrators that fit the Breece Hill profile.

• Will develop and deliver Partner education sessions, user groups and other vehicles to promote and increase Breece Hill mindshare in the region.

• Ability to prepare high quality sales presentations and effectively deliver them to both senior level decision makers and business partner sales personnel in a way that generates results.

• Ability to work effectively with the inside sales team, Regional Sales Representatives and Breece Hill executives to maximize productivity and results.

• Must possess excellent oral/written communication, networking, prioritization and negotiation skills.

• Stay aware of emerging trends and competitors facing Breece Hill.

• Provide guidance and training (as needed) to other members of the organization on key relationships and programs.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will be an experienced individual with an extensive track record of excellence in I/T Channels and have the ability to grow a business with his/her partners.  Additionally:

• He/She will have built and managed Alliances and Partnerships within the storage space in a fast paced company.

• He/She will have the ability to analyze partner/customers, projects and opportunities, define strategies, and design and implement effective programs to create demand for Breece Hill products with Partners.

• He/She will have strong presentation skills and be adept at educating the market on new and evolving technologies. 

• He/She will have achieved results in the past through innovative approaches and thinking out of the box.

• He/She will have a history of interfacing and working successfully at the highest Corporate levels

• He/She will have demonstrated sales success through at or over goal performance for the last 5 years

• He/She will have extensive experience selling to System Integrators

• He/She will have extensive experience achieving revenue goals through channels

• He/She will have developed an active network of storage VARs and System Integrators

Education/experience

• A minimum of 5+ yrs of successful outside sales experience recruiting and selling storage related products through VARs and systems integrators.

• Must be able to demonstrate a current working knowledge of the VAR community for the given territory.

• Availability to travel in territory at least 65% of the time.

• Experience working for or with an international company is a plus
