What type of HBA is required to use with the 10PAK?
The 10PAK is a Wide device and you must have a 68pin LVD/SE (Low Voltage Differential) HBA.

I have a 10PAK that shows Offline on the front panel as soon as it is done initializing.
Check to make sure you have a LVD/SE Terminator connected to an open SCSI port on the back of the 10PAK.

I am continually getting an Error: 62 on the front panel whenever I power on my 10PAK.
Make sure you have removed the ship lock from the picker.

I am continually getting an Error: 160 on the front panel whenever I power on my 10PAK.
Make sure you have removed the ship lock from the SCI/E.

I have a tape stuck in the picker, how can I get it out?
If possible, you can cycle the power of your library. When the library is done initializing the front panel will prompt you to place the tape into an empty cell. It will display Tape In Picker Place to Cell: 0 Just change the cell number to an empty cell and it will place the tape there for you. The library will come online as normal after that is done.

My 10pak is having problems reading my barcode labels, what can I check?
You can look at the Barcode Check setting in the Setup Menu of your 10PAK. To get to the Setup Menu you will have to power cycle the 10PAK. When you see Menu -> Setup Menu press the Menu key on the Front Panel. You will now see some options. Scroll down using the down arrow key on the front panel until you see Barcode Check [OFF] or [ON]. If you have LTO Drives the setting should be [OFF] if you have SDLT Drives it should be [ON]. To make the change press the Enter key when the blinking cursor is next to the option. When you have made the change scroll to the very bottom and press the Enter key when the cursor is next to Save Settings/Exit. Press Enter once more to save the changes.
