QSx70 inventory failure, DLT failure, Pick and place failure, Sag display fails. |
Found the picker was missing one of its pick pads. Using remote diags and the "P" command, found that the Y sensor was in the closed state 100% of the time. Determined that the DLT drive in question reported the same SCSI ID regardless of the SCSI ID selected on the SCSI ID switch. Located picker pad in the bottom of the machine. Replaced the picker pad using double-sided tape. Loosened tension on Y sensor wires. (Will replace sensor as soon as possible.) Replaced DLT drive module. |
QSx70 Saguaro fails to inventory properly. Sag display will not run properly, When Sag display is started, it gives a com port failed to open message. Pick and place failures. DLT drive failures. |

Check and reseat all cables. If problem persists, try loosening the mounting screws which hold the assembly in place. Sometimes over tightening will cause the panel to not work properly. If all else fails, the panel assy. must be replaced. Note, the firmware of the LCD/Motherboard assy. must be compatible with the NT operating system drivers on the hard disk. |
